AI 2027 is a scenario project by the AI Futures Project (Daniel Kokotajlo, Eli Lifland, Thomas Larsen, Romeo Dean; co-edited with Scott Alexander), published in April 2025. It lays out a concrete, dated narrative: through the automation of AI research toward a rapid intelligence explosion in 2027.
